As in the past Grant Avenue Studio and it's staff have been nominated for a number of awards. Grant Avenue Studio was named 'Recording studio of the year', Amy King named 'Recording engineer of the year', and Bob Doidge 'Special Instrumentalist of the year'. Legends at Grant
In April 2008 Paul had the opportunity to work with Rock & Roll Royalty. Tommy Ramone dropped in with his group "Uncle Monk" to record some acoustic roots tracks and also recorded a live show hosted by the studio that evening. In the same week Albert Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult worked with Paul recording the Canadian version of the band. Paul Riemens collaborating with Chris Houston, Songhammer Music Group and Lou Molinaro to bring some rock and punk legends to the studio to record some "live" concerts. So far we have welcomed Richard Lloyd of "Television", Cheetah Chrome of "The Dead Boys" and the legendary group "Pere Ubu".

On the tail of last years release "Plain & Simple", Paul Riemens has released his newest offering "Redneck Lullaby". The new 12 song CD boasts appearances by Richie Hayward (Little Feat), Willie P.
